In addition, we can offer incentives to employers which means you are more likely to get the position you want.

Our staff are on hand to help all job related enquiries. We can also assist you with preparing your resume, writing letters and making calls.

Apprentice/traineeships are available in both traditional trades and other areas, such as hospitality, business, manufacturing and health.

How does it work

Apprentice/traineeships are open to all ages and can be undertaken full-time, part-time or can be started at school.

Combine learning practical skills on-the-job with structured training which results in a nationally recognised qualification.

Gain skills and confidence by spending time in a workplace.

Work experience can be as short as two days or up to six months. It can include formal training to further develop your skills.

Whether it's hairdressing, mechanics, building, office, design, retail, the arts, naturopathy or something else, we have the connections to set up a work experience placement that suits you.

We are here to help you make the first step into the career you want.

We offer various training options:

  • Interactive self-paced online learning about job preparation skills, for example 'how to interview effectively'.

  • Personalised classes on 'Motivation', 'Goal setting and job preparation', and 'Returning to work after children', delivered one-on-one, group or homework based.

  • Six week Access courses resulting in a recognized qualification. Subjects include 'Customer service and administration' and 'Intro to green jobs'.

  • ChemCert certificate or refresher courses delivered by EnviTE trainers. Required for commercial users of pesticides and agricultural chemicals.

  • National Green Jobs Corps offering six months training and environmentally focused work experience.

  •  

     

    We offer ongoing support for up to 26 weeks once you have found a job.We can meet with you at work or elsewhere, or talk on the phone.

    We can help with on the job training and workplace modifications or talking with your employer and coworkers to assist in creating an inclusive environment.

    We are here to help iron out any problems to assist you in being successful in your new job.

    Job seeker skills training

    EnviTE Employment provides skills training to job seekers clients. These take the form of skills needed to get a job, such as: resume writing, making follow up calls, cold calling and interview techniques.

    Online courses in areas such as: administration, software, time management and goal setting are also available to clients. Our EnviTE Employment offices have computers and internet connections set up for use by jobseeker clients to assist with completing these courses.
