National Green Jobs CorpsNational Green Jobs Corps
NGJC gives young people the chance to participate in six month long projects that build skills in the emerging green and climate change related industries. Being part of a National Green Jobs Corps team is a great opportunity to increase skills while making a difference in the local community.
Projects focus on conservation, protection and rejuvenation of the natural environment and cultural heritage. EnviTE is running teams in Tweed, Lismore, Ballina, Casino, Grafton and Coffs Harbour. What do I get out of NGJC?You'll get the opportunity to undertake a combination of work experience, work skills development and accredited training. Completion of the NGJC program results in a nationally recognised qualification which gives you an advantage when looking for future training and employment. You will also get a weekly training allowance, protective clothing (including boots) and you may be eligible for a further educational entry payment.
