Training

EnviTE Training runs unaccredited training (such as workshops) and accredited training (courses) and produces environmental resources.

EnviTE Training is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).  This means we have a contract with the NSW Department of Education and Training to deliver accredited training linked to apprenticeships and traineeships, through the NSW training market.

Why is being an RTO important?

Only RTOs can issue nationally recognised qualifications.

In order to become registered, training providers must meet the Australian Quality Training Framework 2007 (AQTF 2007) standards. This ensures the quality of Vocational Education and Training (VET) services throughout Australia.

We are the only Registered Training Organisation to reach such a broad range of participants, including National Parks and Wildlife staff, Aboriginal groups, unemployed people, Landcare groups and private landholders. In addition, EnviTE Training has ongoing working relationships with several Local Aboriginal Land Councils and Indigenous JSA specialist agencies.
