FAQs for organisations

How much does it cost?

It is free. We do not charge to arrange volunteer, work experience or paid staff.

We also cover the costs of any specific clothing that must be worn to undertake the placement, such as work boots, shirts or protective eyewear, etc.  The cost of getting to and from the placement is the responsibility of the client.  If a client has difficulty with these costs, they can seek assistance from EnviTE Employment.

What if I am not happy?

If you are not happy, you can stop hosting the volunteer.

Whatever your concerns about your volunteer or work experience staff, speak to us about what is and isn't working. If we can not work out a solution, we will withdraw the participant.

What if we work with children?

All volunteers / work experience staff are required to undertake Federal Police Checks to ensure child safety.

Seek Volunteer
Seek Volunteer is a non-profit initiative designed to bring volunteers and the organisations seeking them together. Volunteer opportunities are updated daily and all organisations have been qualified by Volunteering Australia's associated state centres. Seek Volunteer is a free service to approved non-profit organisations.

Volunteering Australia
Volunteering Australia is the Australian national peak body on volunteering. Its role is to represent the diverse views and needs of the volunteer movement while promoting the activity of volunteering as one of enduring social, cultural and economic value.

Volunteering NSW
Volunteering NSW connects people and organisations through referral, training, resource development, information and education services to help people get involved in their communities, and enchance the capacity and skills of not-for-profit organisations, corporations and government to become involved in the community.

Volunteering Queensland
