At the recent graduation of our Gold Coast Work Skills traineeship team, most had to take time off their new jobs to come back and attend. Eight of the nine graduates had found work by the end of the 18 week project.  The program provides a much need pathway for disadvantaged Queenslanders to work in roles including National Parks Field Officer and Ranger, bush regenerator, nursery and landscaping assistants.

Envite Environment is currently developing applications for new rounds of Work Skills Traineeship projects under the Queensland Government’s Skilling Queenslanders for Work program. We want to provide more opportunities for people to gain skills and experience leading to work while benefiting our natural environment and communities.
