Kelly Scott has been very passionate and driven since joining our Skilling Queenslanders for Work traineeship program. Prior to becoming a trainee with Envite, Kelly had insecure, casual work in hospitality, so this program has helped change directions for her and create a promising future in land management.
“This traineeship has been the opportunity of a life time for me. Prior to this I had several jobs in hospitality and I never felt as though I was contributing to anything meaningful.” Said Kelly.
“I’m very passionate about the environment. I love hiking and nature and this traineeship has not only helped me learn about the natural world but contribute to its preservation. I’m grateful for the chance I’ve been given and thankful because I’ve found a career I genuinely love.”
Kelly has secured a job with Townsville City Council as a Trainee. She’ll be doing a 2 year Traineeship and a Cert 3 in Conservation and Land Management.
