Ecological Restoration in NSW National Parks and Reserves

Ecological Restoration in NSW National Parks and Reserves 2015-07-24T07:55:11+00:00

Project Description

Envite Environment bush regeneration teams are contracted to carry out extensive work in numerous national parks and nature reserves by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service between Kempsey and the Queensland border in northern NSW. Much of the work deals with Weeds of National Significance (WoNS), a national program which nominates weeds causing detrimental impacts to the sustainability of Australia’s productive capacity and natural ecosystems. The major weeds controlled include lantana and bitou bush with systematic control of other weeds present across ecosystems being restored.
