The project provides disadvantaged Gold Coast people with employment, training in Certificate 1 in Conservation and Land Management and skill building which lead to over 60% of trainees obtaining work. In 2019 – 2020 four teams of 9 trainees are employed with work based in Numinbah Valley. Project partners include Numinbah Valley Environmental Education Centre, Bornhoffen PCYC Leadership Development Centre and Queensland National Parks. Work activities include native plant propagation, revegetation, bush regeneration and walking track construction and maintenance.
