Clarence River Rehabilitation
Restoration and revegetation works along the Clarence River.

Project Requirement & Objectives:
The State Government engaged Envite to undertake restoration and revegetation works along 7kms of riverbank across 22 properties on the Clarence River. These works support instream revetment works for long term erosion control.
Methodology / Overview of works:
- Source 59,000 local provenance native tube-stock
- Plant preparation and planting in accordance to site plans at each work area
- Follow-up maintenance
- Weeding and monthly reporting
The revegetation works will lead to long term stabilisation of the river bank, particularly during heavy rainfall and fast moving river flow. Erosion risks at the 22 properties have been minimised.
