We’re inviting Expressions of Interest for Original Cool Burning Techniques: From Preparation to Practice – a structured four-part learning series in the Clarence Valley designed for landholders, fire-affected residents and Aboriginal participants.

Led by Cultural Fire Practitioner Craig Little, this program supports participants to build practical skills, confidence and understanding in traditional Aboriginal fire practices.

Through a combination of cultural knowledge sharing, progressive skill development and supervised practical burning, the series aims to:

  • Reduce bushfire risk
  • Support healthier, more resilient landscapes
  • Strengthen local capability
  • Contribute to a locally led Cultural Fire Network in the Clarence Valley
